Windham firefighters assist in controlling Hampstead building fire

HAMPSTEAD — Just before 7:00 a.m. Friday, Windham Fire Department personnel were dispatched to assist in a building fire at 98 Kent Farm Road.

After addressing a motor vehicle collision on Route 93, Windham’s Chief Thomas McPherson Jr., alongside his crew from Engine 2.

The team played a critical role in controlling the flames, which had engulfed the structure by the time of their arrival.

The fire, which was reported shortly before their arrival, necessitated a strong, coordinated response from neighboring departments.

Officials did not immediately release information on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage to the property.

There were also no immediate reports of injuries.

The Windham firefighters cleared the scene by 11:00 a.m., after ensuring that the fire was completely extinguished and no further danger to the property or residents remained.
