HYDE PARK — Boston Police arrested a third suspect on Wednesday in connection with a 2021 shooting death in Hyde Park.

At 3:05 p.m. on Nov. 8, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit apprehended 33-year-old Emmanuel Casseus of Hyde Park.

Casseus was wanted on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for murder and carrying a firearm without a license.

He is slated for arraignment in Suffolk Superior Court on Thursday morning.

The arrest of Casseus follows the prior apprehensions of Pierre Valbrun, 20, of Roxbury, and Jonathan Thebaud, 32, of Brockton, which took place on June 29, 2022.

These arrests stem from an incident that occurred on Oct. 10, 2021, when police responded to reports of a shooting at 26 Ayles Road.

Upon arrival, officers found Trevon De Michael Sands, 20, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Sands was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Boston Police Department continues to investigate the case and encourages anyone with information to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
