Bellows Falls residents face charges for fentanyl possession

WESTMINSTER –– Two Bellows Falls residents are facing charges after being found in possession of fentanyl in a parking lot on US Route 5, according to the Vermont State Police.

Carl Record, 50, and June Beam, 43, were arrested on Nov. 4, around 11:51 a.m., following reports of a drug overdose.

Responding officers from the Westminster Barracks discovered the pair with the narcotic and took them into custody.

In addition to the drug charges, Record was cited for driving with a criminally suspended driver’s license and a violation of previously ordered conditions of release.

Both Record and Beam were transported to the Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks for processing.

Record is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Dec. 5 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.

Beam is also set to appear in court at the same date and time to respond to charges of fentanyl possession.
