Authorities trying to identify man connected to Whitingham school burglary

WHITINGHAM –– Vermont State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual believed to be connected to a burglary at Twin Valley Middle School in Whitingham.

The incident occurred on Nov. 2 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the school located at 4299 Vermont Route 100.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police-Westminster Barracks were alerted to the situation on Nov. 4 around 8:00 a.m. when they received information that a male had been inside the school during the aforementioned hours.

An attached picture of the individual of interest has been released by the authorities. They hope to speak to this person, believing they may have vital information aiding the ongoing investigation.

Members of the public who have any knowledge about this incident or can identify the individual are urged to contact Trooper James Guillaume at the Westminster State Police Barracks by dialing 802-722-4600.

The investigation remains active, and no further details are available at this time.
