Manchester man arrested for September shooting near Taco Bell

MANCHESTER –– Local police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that took place in September on South Willow Street near a popular fast food restaurant.

Joseph Finan, 26, of Derry was taken into custody on Nov. 2, following an extensive investigation into the incident, which occurred on Sept. 12, Manchester Police said.

On that night, officers responded to a call around 11:15 p.m., finding several vehicles in the parking lot of 1045 South Willow Street, near Taco Bell.

Witnesses told police that someone in one of the cars had fired a gun before speeding away.

During the investigation, police learned that the person in the car had also pointed the gun at another individual, making a verbal threat.

Police identified the driver as Finan and subsequently issued a warrant for his arrest, charging him with Reckless Conduct and Criminal Threatening.

Finan turned himself into Manchester Police and is scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsborough Superior Court North today, Nov. 3.
