BROWNINGTON — Vermont State Police are conducting a death investigation after an adult male was found deceased on a Brownington property Tuesday morning.
At around 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 31, troopers responded to a call on Chapdelaine Road where they discovered the body in a wooded area.
The decedent was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for an autopsy, aiming to clarify the cause and manner of his death.
Authorities have stated that the incident is not believed to be criminal in nature. The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed pending further investigation.
