Man arrested for domestic assault in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 48-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Lyndon on Saturday.

Authorities say they were notified of a physical altercation between household members in the area of Kate Street at around 8:40 p.m.

Police say they responded to the scene and made contact with both parties involved.

Police allege that Richard John, of Lyndon, was the primary aggressor and had caused injury to a household member.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police – St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was later cited to appear in court today and issued conditions of release before being released to an uninvolved relative.
