Man arrested for disorderly conduct, DLS in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 20-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Lyndon on Saturday.

Authorities say they were notified of an altercation at a home on Kate Street at around 9:30 p.m.

Police identified Devon John, of Lyndon, as instigating a disturbance when they arrived.

While speaking with John, police say they noted several indicators of impairment on him.

It was also found that John had operated a motor vehicle on a public highway.

Following an investigation, police found that John had several court-ordered conditions of release to not consume alcohol or operate a motor vehicle.

He was also found to have a criminally suspended license.

Police spoke with several occupants in the home and found that John had acted in a disorderly manner causing unrest to the public.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was given a citation to appear in court to answer for the charges of VCOR X4, Agg Disorderly Conduct, Disorderly Conduct, and criminal DLS.
