Home Depot theft suspect arrested, linked to series of robberies

PORTSMOUTH –– A routine patrol led to the arrest of a fugitive from justice on October 27, after a reported theft at Home Depot.

Officer Husaini, while on duty, was alerted about the incident. The suspect’s vehicle was quickly identified and pulled over.

Inside the car was 35-year-old Scott Lamarco of Rochester, NH, who had an active arrest warrant for robbery from the Sanford Maine Police Department.

Lamarco was promptly arrested and the vehicle, which contained multiple pieces of incriminating evidence, was seized by Portsmouth officers.

Law enforcement believes Lamarco is connected to a series of robberies at various Home Depot locations along the Maine and New Hampshire seacoast.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.

Lamarco is currently being held at Rockingham County Jail as a fugitive from justice. He awaits arraignment and extradition on these charges.
