Two injured during motorcycle crash in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Marshfield today.

Authorities were notified of a motorcycle crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger car in the area of Cemetery Hill Road at around 10:00 a.m.

Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were flown to UVM Medical in Burlington and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.

Police say both David Garneau, 43, of Worcester, and Earle Rogers, 65, of Worcester, were transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for injuries.

Following an investigation, police allege that Garneau was suspected to be impaired by intoxicants other than alcohol.

He was issued a citation to appear in court to answer to the charge of negligent operation and DUI – drug.
