Essex man cited for failure to comply with sex offender responsibilities

WILLISTON — A 29-year-old man from Essex was cited following an incident in Williston yesterday.

Police say Timothy Wesson Jr. was found to be non-compliant with his responsibilities to report for the sex offender registry.

Annually, around the time of the sex offender’s birthday, sex offenders are required to update their picture and address information.

Wesson had not met these requirements.

He was issued a citation to appear in court.
