Burglary in Groton

GROTON — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Groton today.

Authorities say they were notified of a burglary involving forced entry at Groton Timberworks at around 12:00 a.m.

Power tools and industrial equipment were stolen, totaling thousands of dollars.

An employee’s vehicle parked on site was also entered, and a vehicle booster pack was stolen from it.

A neighboring business reported vehicles in their parking lot were entered, but nothing has been reported stolen so far in the investigation.

Police say a photograph with the persons of interest is attached to this press release.

Troopers do not have a vehicle description at this time.
