1 min read

TROY — A 75-year-old Troy man was hospitalized Monday after his vehicle overturned on a wet VT RT 100 near Routhier Road.

Barry Moulton, a Troy resident, was driving his Hyundai SantaFe around 9:46 a.m. when the accident occurred. The rain-slicked conditions are believed to have played a role.

State troopers from the Derby Barracks, responding to the scene, found Moulton’s vehicle on its roof off the roadway.

Moulton was promptly rescued by the Troy Fire Department and Newport Ambulance crews. He was first taken to North Country Hospital and later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
