St. Johnsbury man arrested for violating abuse prevention order

ST. JOHNSBURY –– A 25-year-old St. Johnsbury man was taken into custody for violating an abuse prevention order, according to the St. Johnsbury Police Department.

On Oct. 1, at around 5 p.m., St. Johnsbury Police responded to a reported disturbance at New Avenue Apartments on 369 Railroad Street.

Jayden M. VonDoemming is accused of kicking in and entering an apartment he was removed from on Sept. 29 when an abuse prevention order was issued against him.

Corporal Steven Hartwell, the responding officer, said VonDoemming was lodged at the NERCC due to lack of the $2,000 bail imposed by the court.

VonDoemming is scheduled to appear in Caledonia Court on Oct. 2 at 12:30 p.m. for his alleged violation.
