Portsmouth police seek public’s help in identifying person of interest in theft case

PORTSMOUTH –– Local authorities are investigating a Sept. 1 theft at a Walmart store and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest.

The Portsmouth Police Department released a statement on Thursday, requesting assistance from community members in their ongoing investigation.

A photograph of the unidentified individual, deemed a person of interest, was released but is not included in this report.
