BELVIDERE — A 31-year-old man from Johnson was arrested for his second DUI following a crash in Belvidere yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 109 at around 6:50 p.m.
The vehicle was fully engulfed in fire when emergency responders arrived.
Police say they located the driver nearby and identified him as Eugen Webber-McCollaum.
Throughout the course of the investigation, police developed probable cause to arrest Webber-McCollaum for the suspicion of DUI.
He was transported to Copley Hospital for injuries.
He was issued a citation to appear in court on November 29 to answer the charge of DUI #2.
