ST. JOHNSBURY — A 38-year-old woman from Sutton was arrested for DUI drugs following an incident in St. Johnsbury on Thursday.
Police say they observed a vehicle partially parked on a handicapped parking space which drew their attention while they were refueling their cruisers at the Maplefields on US Route 2 at around 6:30 p.m.
Police say they then saw the driver displaying several signs of impairment.
The driver did field sobriety tests and at the conclusion of the tests, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI/drugs other than alcohol.
After further processing, she was charged with the offense.
