ST. JOHNSBURY — A 41-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
Police say they observed a man walking who they believed to be Rafael Owens, of St. Johnsbury, while patrolling along US 5, near the intersection of Hospital Drive, at around 8:00 p.m.
Owens was known to be wanted on a warrant for domestic assault.
Troopers initiated contact with Owens shortly after and verified both his identity and the active warrant.
Owens was taken into custody and cited to appear in court on September 25.
