CAMBRIDGE — A 52-year-old man from Wolcott was cited following an incident in Cambridge.

Police say Jon LeBlanc, 52, of Westford, called and advised his 16-foot enclosed utility trailer was stolen from a jobsite on Route 15 at around 7:45 a.m. on September 6.

Surveillance video showed a stolen town of Wolcott truck pulling up to LeBlanc’s trailer and towing it away, just after 7:00 a.m.

Later in the day, police say they located Eric Edson, 52, driving the stolen town of Wolcott truck.

Edson fled from troopers at a high rate of speed on Route 15 and passed several vehicles on blind hills and corners.

Due to Edson’s gross disregard for the safety of civilians and motorists, police discontinued following him.

The trailer was located abandoned on Wildberry Lane in Westford.

Police say the trailer and all of its contents were returned to LeBlanc.

Police say that Edson did in fact steal the trailer and parked it on Wildberry Lane.

Edson was issued a citation ordering him to appear in court on November 8.
