Woman arrested for possession of cocaine in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 31-year-old woman from Burlington was arrested following an incident in Lyndon on Saturday.

Police say they observed a parked vehicle that was on with two non-responsive occupants inside on US 5 and Industrial Parkway at around 1:40 a.m.

Police initiated contact with the occupants to ensure each individual was safe.

It was at this time, police say they spoke with the driver who was later identified as Michelle “Thompson” Deaette.

During questioning, contraband was discovered that later led to a search of the motor vehicle.

During the search of the vehicle, cocaine was located in Deaette’s possession.

She was taken into custody and cited to appear in court on January 22.
