Burlington man accused of shoplifting to appear in Caledonia court

ST JOHNSBURY –– A Burlington man has been charged with petit larceny for allegedly shoplifting from a local market, the St Johnsbury Police Department reported.

The accused, Antonio A. Hammond, 39, was identified by police as the man reported shoplifting at White Market on September 11.

Detective Sgt. Lester Cleary responded to the incident.

Hammond was issued a citation and is expected to appear in Caledonia court on October 30 to answer to the charge.
