ST. JOHNSBURY — A 29-year-old man from St. Johnsbury was involved in a single-vehicle crash today.
The crash took place on New Boston Road in St. Johnsbury at around 12:35 p.m.
According to the report, Leonard Garcia was headed south at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
The vehicle exited the west side of the road and hit several trees.
Garcia was transported to NVRH for treatment of injuries.
Police say impairment was suspected as a contributing factor, so a DRE was contacted to conduct an evaluation.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Lyndonville Police Department, St. Johnsbury Fire Department, and CALEX Ambulance.
