Driver facing charges after crash in Townshend

TOWNSHEND — A 45-year-old man from Whitingham was cited following an incident in Townshend on August 29.

Authorities say they were notified of a disabled vehicle on Vermont Route 30 at around 1:05 a.m.

Police say they responded and identified the driver as John Galaske.

Galaske was found to have a criminally suspended license and court-ordered conditions of release not to operate a motor vehicle.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on October 13 to answer to the charges of criminal DLS and violation of conditions of release.
