DERBY — A 32-year-old man was cited following an incident in Derby earlier this month.

Authorities say they were made aware of an alleged sex offender registry violation at a home on Darling Hill Road at around 6:55 p.m.

Police say they spoke to Robert Lehman, of Derby, the person of interest about the incident.

Following an investigation, police found that Lehman had not registered as a sex offender within 10 days of residing in the state.

He was issued a citation to appear in court for the charge of violation of the sex offender registry.
