Barrington Police Department secures arrest warrant for bank robbery suspect

BARRINGTON –– The Barrington Police Department announced on August 21 that it had secured an arrest warrant for Jon P. Schiavone, who is suspected of robbing the First Seacoast Bank earlier this month.

Schiavone is facing charges for his alleged involvement in the bank robbery that took place in Barrington on August 7, according to Chief George Joy.

The suspect is currently being held on preventative detention in Manchester and is scheduled to be arraigned on the Barrington charges on August 22.

The Barrington Police Department extended its gratitude to the Dover Police Department, the Hooksett Police Department, and the New Hampshire State Police for their assistance in the case.

Detective Sergeant Barber is the lead investigator on the case.
