DERBY — A 77-year-old man from Morgan was arrested following an incident in Derby yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault on Vermont Route 111 at around 10:35 p.m.
Police allege that William Loomis strangled and placed a household member in fear.
Loomis was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Derby barracks where he was processed.
He was later transported to Northern State Correctional.
