Suspect arrested for threatening to kill man in Underhill

UNDERHILL — A 32-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Underhill today.

Authorities say they were notified that Adam Shirlock, 42, of Underhill, called the State Police to report he was threatened by an unknown man on Mountain Road at around 8:00 a.m.

Shirlock told police that he stopped to check on a vehicle parked on Mountain Road and when he asked the operator if he was alright, the operator threatened his life and threatened to physically harm him.

Shirlock immediately drove away and called the State Police.

Police say a Chittenden Deputy was in the area and located the man in Underhill Center.

When troopers arrived, the suspect was identified as Timothy Munzer, of Underhill.

Munzer was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.

He was released with a citation ordering him to appear in court at a later date.
