Nashua police arrest three in drug sweep

NASHUA –– In a collaborative effort over the week ending August 4, units from the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau, Narcotics Intelligence Division, and the Problem Oriented Policing Unit detained three individuals on various drug charges.

Andrew Sanders, 38, residing at 14 Merrill Street, faced arrest on one count of Acts Prohibited; Possession of a Controlled Drug Subsequent Offense; Fentanyl, recognized as a class A felony. Alongside the primary charge, Sanders had an outstanding electronic bench warrant due to a court non-appearance. A personal recognizance bail granted Sanders his release. His arraignment is slated for August 23, 2023, at the Hillsborough County Superior Court- Southern District.

Aaron Bond, a 24-year-old from 16 Amory Street, was arrested with three counts against his name. The charges encompass Acts Prohibited; Possession of a Controlled Drug Subsequent Offense, specifically for Crack cocaine and Fentanyl, both categorized as class A felonies. Bond’s arraignment is scheduled at the Hillsborough County Superior Court- Southern District on August 31, 2023, following his release on personal recognizance bail.

Randy Widmer, 36, without a fixed address, was the third individual apprehended. Widmer was charged with one count of Acts Prohibited; Possession of a Controlled Drug Subsequent Offense related to Crack Cocaine, another class A felony. After securing release on personal recognizance bail, Widmer’s arraignment is set for August 31, 2023, at the same court as the others.
