WILLISTON — A 17-year-old from Milton was charged with negligent operation following an incident in Williston on Sunday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling 107 miles-per-hour in a posted 65 miles-per-hour zone on I-89 north at around 11:30 p.m.
The driver was identified as a juvenile.
Police say inside the vehicle were four additional passengers.
The juvenile was issued a citation to appear in court on September 21 to answer the charge.
