WILLISTON — A 58-year-old man from Canada was arrested for DUI following an incident in Williston yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop on I-89 south after observing a vehicle commit a traffic violation at around 10:50 p.m.
The driver was identified as Daniel Debonis, of Quebec, Canada.
While speaking with Debonis, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.
He was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Debonis was released with a citation to appear in court on September 26 to answer the charge.
