BARNET — A 39-year-old woman was cited for aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Williamstown yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a 911 call of a man in distress in the area of Shoreline Drive at around 9:25 p.m.
Police say they located the injured man and identified the suspect as Rebecca Neveau, of Williamstown.
Police allege Neveau assaulted a household member, in the presence of 2 children.
Neveau was transported to the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks for fingerprints and processing.
She was issued a citation to answer the charges and held at NERCF.
