Police arrest man following shooting incident in Concord

CONCORD — A 21-year-old man from St. Johnsbury was arrested following a shooting incident in Concord on Tuesday.

Authorities say they were notified of the shooting on Shadow Lake Road at around 9:40 p.m.

Police say a vehicle was reported to have chased another vehicle, and fired shots after it stopped.

The vehicle being followed was occupied by several passengers.

Police say there was no one injured as a result of these shots being fired.

A search warrant was granted for Christopher Baker’s residence in St. Johnsbury, which led to his arrest and the recovery of evidence related to the crimes alleged.

Police say they are still investigating this incident.

Baker is charged with domestic assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, unlawful mischief, and disturbing the peace by phone.
