DERBY — A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a crash in Derby today.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Nelson Hill Road at around 5:45 p.m.
Police say the driver, identified as Nathaniel Walton, fled the scene without making contact with law enforcement.
State Police received a tip from a passerby who observed where Walton was located.
Walton displayed multiple indicators of impairment and was taken into custody and transported to the Derby barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court.
