Unidentified woman steals outdoor equipment from Jamaica resident

JAMAICA — An unidentified woman allegedly stole outdoor equipment from a local resident on June 16, according to the Vermont State Police.

The items taken included a weedwhacker, a shovel, and a skateboard.

Catherine Urbaniak, 49, reported the incident three days later on June 19.

According to police reports, Urbaniak identified the time of theft as approximately 5:49 p.m.

The theft took place at her residence on Vermont Route 30, in Jamaica, Windham County.

The person of interest, captured on video, was seen driving a mid-2000s, silver RAM 1500 truck, featuring a single cab and a short bed.

The vehicle has a green and white license plate and a white sticker on the back windshield.

The woman was wearing a black tank top, army camouflage pants, and Birkenstocks with thick soles.

She has a distinctive red bun or extension in her hair.
