Salem police seek public assistance in road rage, hit-and-run incident

SALEM — The Salem Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a truck and its operator involved in a road rage incident that took place at the Rite Aid on Route 28 earlier today.

The incident resulted in a female pedestrian being dragged by the suspect’s vehicle, sustaining personal injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m.

The vehicle in question appears to be a light blue Chevy Silverado with New Hampshire registration plates, possibly veteran plates.

Noteworthy features of the vehicle include a yellow “LineX” sticker in the rear window and a black tonneau cover on the bed.

Officer Markey of the Salem Police Department is leading the investigation and would like to speak with the operator of the vehicle in relation to the incident.
