Topsham man arrested on multiple charges including DUI, domestic assault

TOPSHAM — A 20-year-old local man, Timothy Reynolds, has been arrested following a family dispute and potential vehicle theft incident on Halls Hill.

On June 20, at approximately 10:15 p.m., troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the incident.

The investigation revealed that Reynolds had assaulted a family member, an 84-year-old resident of Topsham, and had interfered with their access to emergency services.

Furthermore, Reynolds exhibited signs of impairment and was consequently processed for driving under the influence.

He was released on court-ordered conditions and is set to appear on June 21 in Orange County Criminal Court to answer to the charges.

As per Vermont State Police policy, the name of the victim has not been released.
