Man arrested for DUI after erratic driver reported in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A 41-year-old man from Rutland was arrested for DUI following an incident in New Haven yesterday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop after responding to a reported erratic driver near the intersection of US Route 7 and Vermont Route 17 at around 11:45 p.m.

The driver was identified as Erron Woodley.

While speaking with Woodley, police say they observed indicators of impairment.

He was screened and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing and released with a citation for the offense to appear in court at a later date
