Man arrested for DUI, assault in Fair Haven

FAIR HAVEN — A 30-year-old man from Sudbury was arrested following an incident in Fair Haven on May 25.

Police say they arrested Kyle J. Bizon after stopping him for a motor vehicle violation on Washington Street at around 10:50 p.m.

Police say they observed Bizon operating with defective equipment prior to the stop.

Upon interview, police say they detected Bizon to be under the influence of alcohol.

Bizon then failed field sobriety exercises and police attempted to take him into custody.

Police say Bizon resisted arrest and attempted to assault officers.

He was subdued using a Taser.

Police say Bizon continued to threaten officers during the encounter.

He was charged with DUI refusal after he refused to provide a breath sample.

He was arrested and taken to the Marble Valley Correctional Center.

While at the Correctional center, police allege that Bizon assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the head.
