Someone throws shopping cart through Richford Dollar General window

RICHFORD — The Vermont State Police are investigating a vandalism incident at the Dollar General in Richford after a shopping cart was reportedly thrown through a storefront window.

The incident occurred at 1 Noyes Street, during the night of May 25, according to the police report.

The damage was reported by a complainant who noticed the damage in the early morning hours today.

A shopping cart was reportedly used in the act of vandalism, causing substantial damage to one of the front windows of the store.

The police have not yet identified a suspect and are urging anyone with information relating to the incident to come forward.

Trooper Conte of the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks is handling the investigation.
