Children injured during two-vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury today.

The crash took place on US Route 2, near the exit 21 off-ramp, at around 3:15 p.m.

According to the report, Cheney Cheyenne, 24, of Bradford, was stopped at a stop sign when she was distracted by a passenger in the rear of the vehicle.

Her vehicle, a 2017 RAV4, entered into the intersection and collided with a 2005 Mustang, that was driven by Shannon Barlow, 55, of St. Johnsbury.

Police say both vehicles received significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Two ambulances from CALEX responded to transport individuals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say 2 passangers injured were children, ages 2 and 4-years-old, and 1 was a 6 months old.

There is not information at this time as to the nature of their injuries.
