Driver charged with DUI after crash in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 64-year-old man from Connecticut was arrested for DUI following an incident in Lyndon yesterday.

Police say they observed a red, Chevy S10 failing to maintain its lane of travel while patrolling East Burke Road at around 6:25 p.m.

The truck left the lane of travel and slowly rolled into a telephone pole.

The driver was identified as Paul Cross, of Watertown, CT.

Following an investigation, Cross was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks where he was processed and released with a citation for court.
