PUTNEY — A 24-year-old man from New York was arrested following an incident in Putney yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a call reporting a violation of an abuse prevention order at around 8:40 p.m.
Police say they responded to the home and interviewed one of the involved parties.
They proceeded to attempt to locate the alleged offender.
Police say they located Zackery Webster-Burch, of Corinth, NY, and determined he had violated his conditions of release and an active abuse prevention order.
Webster-Burch was placed under arrest and transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.
He was released and issued a citation to appear in court today to answer the charges of violation of conditions of release, and violation of an abuse prevention order.
