Lyndonville police raid marijuana grow in Colonnade Inn

LYNDON — Police say they executed a search warrant at the Colonnade Inn on Back Center Road on Tuesday.

Authorities were notified of an illegal marijuana grow occurring in a room at the Colonnade Inn at around 1:50 p.m.

Police say they were advised of no fewer than 14 marijuana plants found by a maintenance worker.

Officer Renaudette secured the room, and applied for a search warrant.

The warrant was granted and executed yesterday at 12:45 p.m.

During the search, police say they located and seized 17 immature marijuana plants, as well as several items used to cultivate marijuana.

This is an ongoing investigation, and charges are still pending.
