St. Albans woman arrested in New York

ST. ALBANS — A 34-year-old woman from St. Albans was arrested following an incident in Queensbury, NY last week.

Police say they arrested Danielle S. Peno for criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

On April 20, police say they observed a disabled vehicle in traffic when they arrested Peno.

She reported the vehicle was having mechanical issues.

Police say that Peno did not possess a valid driver’s license.

She was also found to possess a forged out-of-state driver’s license, a controlled substance, and an illegally possessed weapon.

Peno was transported to SP Queensbury for processing.

She was turned over to the Warren County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
