LYNDON — A 36-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for aggravated domestic assault in Lyndon early yesterday morning.
Authorities say they were notified that an individual had been attacked and strangled by a household member on Back Center Road at around 1:35 a.m.
Police say they found the suspect, Steven Vielguth, outside the home.
Police say that Vielguth assaulted a household member.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in court today and provided court-ordered conditions of release.
