NASHUA — Six individuals were arrested last week in Nashua as part of a coordinated round-up operation targeting drug crimes.
Members of the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem Oriented Policing Unit led the arrests as part of Operation Granite Shield, which is designed to combat criminal activity related to drug use.
Those arrested include:
Michael Shea, age 30, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with having an outstanding warrant from the New Hampshire State Police for Possession of a Controlled Drug, Felony. Shea was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at the Merrimack County Superior Court.
Benjamin Phillips, age 36, of Pepperell, Massachusetts was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug; Heroin/Fentanyl (Class B Felony). Phillips was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.
Jeffrey Weston, age 42, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug; Heroin/Fentanyl (Class B Felony). Weston was released on personal recognizance bail pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.
Jackie Simons, age 32, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug; Cocaine (Class B Felony). Simons also had two (2) active Electronic Bench Warrants for Non-Appearance in Court. Simons was released on personal recognizance bail pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.
Kevin Baez-Lebron, age 26, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with Operating After Certified as a Habitual Offender (Class B Felony), Driving After Revocation or Suspension; Subsequent (Class A Misdemeanor) and Driving Without Giving Proof (Class A Misdemeanor). Baez-Lebron was released on $250.00 cash bail pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.
Mark Ruppel, age 34, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with two (2) Counts of Sale of Controlled Drug; Heroin/Fentanyl-Subsequent Offense (Special Felony). Ruppel was released on personal recognizance bail pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough.
