CONCORD — A registered sex offender has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure in Concord, New Hampshire.

Christopher Dastrup, 38, was charged with indecent exposure/lewdness, two priors (felony) x 2, according to a statement from the Concord Police Department.

Dastrup was arrested on April 19, and is being held on unrelated charges at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men.

The arrest came after a report to police on March 28, of a man exposing himself in the window of a downtown apartment.

Witnesses indicated that the male exposed himself in the apartment window for an extended period of time while looking through binoculars toward downtown Concord.

Four days later, on April 1, an off-duty Concord Police Officer observed a male exposing himself in the window of a nearby apartment.

With the assistance of detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, the window the male was seen exposing himself in was identified as the same window from the incident the week prior.

Dastrup is scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on April 20, 2023, at 1 p.m.

Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to contact Detective Steve Hemming of the Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
