Driver arrested for DUI #4 in Leicester

LEICESTER — A 55-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for his fourth DUI following an incident in Leicester today.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop after an observed motor vehicle violation near the intersection of US Route 7 and Fern Lake Road at around 5:25 p.m.

The driver was identified as Philip Letourneau.

While speaking with Letourneau, police say they observed indicators of impairment.

He was screened and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing and released with a citation for the above violation to appear in court at a later date.

He will face a charge of DUI #4.
