RICHFORD — A 28-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Richford yesterday.

Police say they arrested Jordan Hemingway, of Richford, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for aggravated domestic assault.

Police say they encountered Hemingway at a home on Noyes Street during the execution of a search warrant connected to an unrelated, ongoing criminal investigation in Massachusetts.

According to the charges against Hemingway, he repeatedly hit and threatened a 26-year-old woman while she was driving a car.

He was taken into custody and brought immediately to the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in St. Albans, where he was arraigned, pleaded not guilty, and was ordered jailed without bail.
