Man facing DUI #2 charge in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — A Sutton man has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time after he was found slumped over in his car in a parking lot in St. Johnsbury.

According to Vermont State Police, troopers were flagged down by a motorist who reported seeing the man slumped over at the wheel of his car parked in the Kinney Drugs parking lot on Memorial Drive on Friday evening.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they discovered the man slumped over in the driver’s seat.

The man, identified as Kristopher Anctil, 38, eventually woke up and presented several signs of impairment.

He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI at the conclusion of the investigation.

Anctil was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing and charged with his second DUI offense.
